Merino wool provides excellent warmth, is breathable, highly elastic, light and it dries quickly – which has a positive effect on odour. Lenz products with Merino SOFTTEC® also have a special inner layer made of high-tech yarns – for completely scratch-free wearing comfort and long durability.
KEEPS WARM – WITHOUT SCRATCHING
Merino wool is the perfect raw material for sports and functional clothing. Why? It is highly crimped and has a wavy structure, which makes it much finer than conventional sheep’s wool. Merino wool can curl up to 40 times per centimeter.
Although fine merino wool is much less irritating than coarse wool, it remains a natural product and can scratch and chafe. That’s why Lenz products with Merino SOFTTEC® have a special inner layer of high-tech yarns. These yarns are pleasant to the skin and prevent unpleasant scratching for even more wearing comfort.
We use Merino SOFTTEC® in a wide variety of product groups: Performance Wear, Performance Socks, Casual Socks and in heated products.

The long-sleeved shirt with round neck and a sophisticated material composition of merino wool and technical fibers warms even on colder days.
