Merino wool provides excellent warmth, is breathable, highly elastic, light and it dries quickly – which has a positive effect on odour. Lenz products with Merino SOFTTEC® also have a special inner layer made of high-tech yarns – for completely scratch-free wearing comfort and long durability.
KEEPS WARM – WITHOUT SCRATCHING
Merino wool is the perfect raw material for sports and functional clothing. Why? It is highly crimped and has a wavy structure, which makes it much finer than conventional sheep’s wool. Merino wool can curl up to 40 times per centimeter.
Although fine merino wool is much less irritating than coarse wool, it remains a natural product and can scratch and chafe. That’s why Lenz products with Merino SOFTTEC® have a special inner layer of high-tech yarns. These yarns are pleasant to the skin and prevent unpleasant scratching for even more wearing comfort.
We use Merino SOFTTEC® in a wide variety of product groups: Performance Wear, Performance Socks, Casual Socks and in heated products.
Women Merino 6.0 Long Sleeves Turtle Neck Performance Baselayer Shirt
With its stand-up collar, the long-sleeved shirt for women keeps you especially warm on cold days. The natural merino wool in combination with technical fibres ensures good temperature regulation and optimal sweat transport – and it’s completely scratch-free. Thanks to the rib flex area on the shoulders and torso, the longsleeve adapts perfectly to every movement. The seams are extra flat and the comfort cuffs close well without cutting in.

Merino 6.0 Performance Baselayer 3/4 Pants
The 3/4-length functional pants for women are particularly suitable for preventing wrinkles in high shoes such as ski boots. The high-quality yarn mix of merino wool and functional fibres ensures fast moisture transport and supports the body’s own temperature management. Extra-flat seams and the elastic waistband ensure a particularly high wearing comfort.
